The Mankato Area Pickleball Association enthusiastically staffed a hydration station during the 2023 Mankato Half Marathon, and it was a fantastic day with an impressive turnout of our members. The beautiful autumn weather added to the enjoyment of the event. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who volunteered their time to support the MAPA water station. Participating in this major city event was a truly enjoyable experience.

Yeah, today is the biggest day for MAPA.  The Mankato City Manage and other city officials joined us in celebrating the opening of the six new courts at Tourtellotte Park.  Special thanks to MAPA members and its leaders who worked tirelessly and persistently to make it happen, especially John Sandry who has a big dream and a huge heart to enhance the health of residents, young or old, by promoting the pickleball, the fastest growing sport in the entire world.

Thanks for the great turnouts and now let’s go play Pickleball.

Congratulations to MAPA members who won medals in the competitive 2nd Annual RMHC tournament at Picklebarn.
